2017-09-27: Finally made first HF contacts with the NATA net on 7.185.00 and joined OMISS

2017-09-24: Finished testing 2m Aluminum J-Pole antenna on local repeater with 5W.

2017-09-24: Completed ALC, Power, SWR tests on HF 40m. Heard first weak response to CQ but couldn’t complete QSO

2017-09-23: Set up my first HF rig – Yaesu 857D. Figured out a grounding setup.

2017-09-23: Tuned 40m inverted V dipole (1.16SWR at 7.150 MHz), also good at 80m.

2017-09-23: Discovered coax to antenna was damaged – repaired

2017-09-20: Fixed Antenna Analyzer – Strange results from scans

2017-09-09: VA3MHY.ca Registered
